EMPTY DOM REMOVE PROTECTOR
Benefits
Lifts the front of your foot on every step, so your toe clears carpets, curbs and stairs instead of catching on them. Your ankle stays free to bend and your calf keeps working.
How to use?
  1. Slide it in Place the anchor flat inside your shoe, under the forefoot.
  2. Wrap the cuff Secure it around your lower leg, just above the ankle bone.
  3. Set the tension Adjust until your foot sits in a natural lifted position.
  4. Walk and fine-tune Take a few steps and adjust. Start with one to two hours a day and build up.
Which shoes does it work with?
Sneakers, work boots, loafers, flats and dress shoes. It sits inside the shoe, so it doesn't need laces or eyelets, and you don't need to size up.
Who is this for?
Built for mild to moderate foot drop. Simple test: if you can move your ankle with your hand, this is designed for you. Complete paralysis or a rigid foot deformity needs a rigid AFO prescribed by a doctor.

What the toe drag costs you

Your toe catches. Your hip pays for it.

You know the moment. The rug edge, the curb, the third stair from the top — and your toe doesn't clear it.

So you compensate. You hike your hip to swing the leg through, thousands of times a day. That's why the hip and lower back now ache more than the foot ever did.

Hold the front of the foot raised and the compensation stops. The toe clears, the heel lands first, and your body walks the way it was built to instead of working around the problem.

From watching the ground to walking without thinking

You don't trip every time. That's the part nobody understands. You catch it most days but the not-knowing is what keeps your eyes down and your hand near the railing.

So you take the shorter route. You skip the uneven sidewalk. The world gets a little smaller without you deciding it should.

The brace holds the front of your foot in a gently lifted position through the swing phase, so the toe clears before it can catch.

Your eyes come up off the ground. The step stops needing your full attention.

Woman walking at home wearing the brace inside her shoe

Trusted by 8,500+ for safer walking

“I used to be really scared of tripping, always looking at the ground to ensure my toes didn’t catch. This brace is very light and raises my foot right away, allowing me to walk freely without worrying about each step. I feel balanced and secure again, and I’m now able to walk outside without the worry of falling. It’s not just a brace, it returned my freedom to me.”

Why the hip started hurting before the foot did

You went to the doctor about your back. Nobody mentioned your foot.

Every step where the toe doesn't clear, your body compensates you hike the hip, or lift the knee higher than it should have to go. Thousands of times a day, until the hip and lower back are absorbing what the ankle stopped doing.

When the foot lifts on its own, the compensation stops.

What buyers tell us

I was truly skeptical of this afo when I first got it. But man, I love this thing. I wear it golfing, I'll wear it to work. I'll wear it to parties. Makes me forget I have a disability. I've bought 2 of them already, and may possibly buy a third one in case I wear one of them out. Trust me when I say this is a great product! 😎👍👍

Liam M. Liam M. [64, Ohio]

Very easy to use and very comfortable. It is also very supportive.

Franklin S. Franklin S. [58, Texas]

It takes a little getting used to at first, maybe the first two days, but once you figure out the tension, it works perfectly.

Sophia H. Sophia H. [50, Florida]

Game changer.

Ava W. Ava W. [57, Arizona]

I have MS and my foot drop gets worse when I’m tired. I keep this in my bag and put it on when I feel my leg getting heavy. It’s a lifesaver.

Oliver E. Oliver E. [55, Oregon]

I bought this for my father who had a stroke last year. He was refusing to wear the big plastic boot the hospital gave him because it was uncomfortable. He actually wears this one every day.

Camila Y. Camila Y. [62, Illinois]

Harper A. Harper A. [61, Georgia]

Finally I can wear my normal sneakers again! The hard braces require you to buy shoes two sizes too big, but this fits right into my Hokas.

Cooper H. Cooper H. [50, Michigan]

This brace has honestly changed my daily walks. I used to catch my toe on the sidewalk cracks constantly, but now I feel so much safer.

Liam H. Liam H. [63, Colorado]

It works great. I've had $750 braces that didn't work as well as this one

Renee P. Renee P. [51, Indiana]

Wonderful and much more comfortable than the previous similar product

Taylor R. Taylor R. [64, Missouri]

Works great. i also have bought the one where that pumps up i do not like the one that pumps up because when you pump it up your foot actually lowers instead of being in the upper neutral position defeating the purpose of buying one this one is exactly what i need. i wear it with all of my slip-on shoes

Carmen B. Carmen B. [63, Wisconsin]

As shown on picture

Emily L. Emily L. [72, Kentucky]

The toes don't stick up! Recommended for those who tend to trip. Since it's a dial type, loosen it a bit when driving the car! When walking, if you tighten it properly, it makes walking easier. I have a disease that causes my muscle strength to decline, so I can't let go easily.

James D. James D. [56, Utah]

Everything is fine, its fits perfectly

Elian H. Elian H. [55, Iowa]

Good material. I've only used it once; I thought the tip would rise higher... I'll continue adjusting it to see.

June D. June D. [64, Maine]
